The Xotels Group expands its hotel management portfolio with the Hotel Ribera de Triana in Seville, Spain. It is yet another hotel which this innovative international hotel management company guides through the removal of the chain flag and repositions an independent property.

Over the last few months Xotels has uncovered hidden revenue potential for the Design Hotel Secret the Paris. Within 6 months of taking on the revenue management strategies for this unique boutique hotel, results have increased with more than 10%. This great success story demonstrates the importance of excellent guest service and online reputation for revenue management.

Traditionally hotel asset management has been focused on operations and cost control. Over the last few years we have seen a clear shift in revenue management getting a more prominent role. Profitability is not only a result of cost control but also revenue generation. Finally we also see sales and marketing become a key area for the by hotel asset manager. 

Banks and governments might be struggling, but travel is surely on the rise in Europe. Regardless of the economical struggles in the financial market over the last few months, the European hotel industry is showing strong signals and results. Xotels reports 9,8% RevPar growth in Q2 for its independent hotel portfolio. And heading into the summer months the promising performance continues to hold.

The independent hotel portfolio of Xotels reports strong REVPAR results for the first quarter of 2012. Both January and March showd growth across the board, where February more or less flat vs. 2011. The forecast for Q2 2012 is very promising and looks to bring us record revenues.

Exploring new ways to achieve a better ROI on their hotel real estate investment, the Sunway Group in Sitges has brought in outside help. They have incorporated the revenue management experts of Xotels to achieve a better REVPAR and GOPPAR on their hotel asset portfolio.

The latest addition to the Xotels hotel management portfolio is the Rimondi Grand Hotel in Crete. The luxury all suite spa resort, located on the north coast of the island near the town of Rethymnon will open its doors in June of 2012. As part of its hotel asset management folio Xotels is implementing a revenue management, distribution and internet marketing strategy for this hotel.
