Select-service properties are a hybrid of full-service hotels and limited service hotels. As the name states, select service properties, select their services \u2013 thereby only providing services which match the target markets needs. Most select service hotels fall into the three star categorisation.<\/p>\n

Select services hotel industry<\/a> is the fastest growing segment in the hospitality industry<\/a>. Select service hotels originally only offered very limited services, many didn\u2019t have a restaurant or a bar and if they did the bar was often run by the reception. Today, much has changed and the hotel<\/a> offers both bars, restaurants and sometimes even room service. The products and services offered though are generally adapted towards budget conscious travellers, thereby offering a rather restricted, low price selection of products and services.<\/p>\n

The selection of services often leads to more affordable hotels. Furthermore, customers also are therefore able to choose a hotel which provides only the services which they are going to consume. In comparison to a full service hotel<\/a>, at which guests sometimes pay for services they never require or utilize.<\/p>\n
