Mission of the Role

Bring in new clients, create new strategic business relationships and ensure continued company expansion for our hotel revenue management software.

Scope

  • Identification of new prospects
  • Follow up on qualified leads and provide online and face to face system demonstrations
  • Achieve sales targets and assure overall company growth
  • Expand on a large industry network and industry partners to create new leads and bring in new business
  • Provide coaching and knowledge to colleagues to improve their product knowledge and sales skills
  • Wants to learn from the highly skilled team of revenue managers at Xotels
  • Has hands on approach with the Hotel Scienz support team for set up and training of new customers on the use of our hotel revenue management solution
  • Ensures customer satisfaction
  • Regular travel to different destinations for sales and prospecting purposes
  • Take on any challenge without a doubt and have a no-nonsense approach to overcome challenges

Reports To

  • Managing Director

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prospection of new clients
  • Build effective outbound prospecting and sales strategy
  • Follow up on and apply filter to inbound leads
  • Efficient handling of incoming leads and prospects to new sales
  • Work smartly with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Provide weekly sales and activity reports
  • Handle all demo requests by prospects
  • Improve the quality of sales and marketing materials
  • Improve work methods
  • Assist support team with set up of any new customers
  • Resolve any customer issues
  • Proactively calls all clients on a regular basis to ensure problem solving and maximum system usage
  • Participate in the improvement and continuous development of our revenue management software
  • Preparation and participation in trade shows and industry events
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution

Experience & Qualifications

  • A strong personal drive and self-motivation is desired in this role. You do not wait for approval or constant recognition and you develop yourself and others without holding back
  • Previous business development experience is a plus
  • Business level written and spoken English is a must. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Must be EU Citizen or in possession of Spanish work visa
  • Must have hotel industry experience
  • Knowledge of Revenue Management, Property Management Systems or other commercial hotel systems is a definite plus
  • Computer literate with good level of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Has presentation skills
  • Enjoys speaking in public
