Step 6 in our strategic hotel revenue management action plan is:
- Develop statistics on length of stay patterns by day of arrival for all days of the weeks, per segment and as per number of days left to sell (lead time).
- If PMS reports cannot be built, read your on the books (OTB), last year actual stays on comparable periods including your turnaways.
- Take into account the revenue loss on shoulder days if you decide to sell all rooms for one or two nights.
